This cake was actually made for a lady turning 70. I was asked by her daughter in law to do something in a winter scene. I think it has a quiet, peacefulness about it. I also think this would make a beautiful winter wedding cake. The birdhouse is hand crafted from choc. candy clay and all the other details (branch,berries,leaves and pinecones and of course the cardinal ) are all fondant
