I don't generally add toys to my cakes but the mom of the birthday boy had these and wanted me to put them on the cake. They did save a lot of time. Maybe I should reconsider the use of toys.

The space ball on the top is made form rice krispies, covered in candy clay, covered in fondant and airbrushed. Buzz was supposed to stand on top of the space ball but ended up being to big. It's okay though, they had a smaller one at home they would place on top. The day was saved!
